Stepping into History at Dover Castle

I wandered along the battlements, imagining the soldiers who once kept watch here. The wartime tunnels beneath the castle were a fascinating surprise, telling stories from World War II with immersive displays and sounds. Outside, the green lawns and surrounding grounds made for a perfect place to relax and take in the scenery. Dover Castle combines rich history, impressive architecture, and stunning views, making it one of those places where you can easily spend the whole day without noticing the time pass.
