Wat Pho Kao Ton, Singburi Province

Wat Pho Kao Ton, or Wat Mai Daeng, is an ancient temple of significant historical significance in Thailand. Located in Bang Rachan Subdistrict, Khai Bang Rachan District, Singburi Province.

📌 Importance
This temple was once a gathering place for the Bang Rachan villagers before they marched to fight the Burmese army at Bang Rachan Camp during the Second Fall of Ayutthaya (1767).

The temple features an ancient chedi, a viharn, and artifacts related to the Bang Rachan villagers. Nine Bodhi trees, as the temple's name suggests, symbolize the villagers' faith and courage.
