Khao Sok National Park
Located in Phanom and Ban Ta Khun Districts,
Surat Thani Province, Khao Sok National Park is a vast natural area covered with evergreen forest.
It covers almost the entire national park area, mostly mountainous and complex.
There is limited plain area. The northern part of the park, along Khlong Phrasaeng, is a large water source.
Formed by the construction of the Ratchaprapha (Cheow Lan) Dam, it boasts a diverse range of flora and fauna.
Khao Sok National Park covers an area of approximately 741.01 square kilometers (463,131.43 rai).
The park is open daily from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Evening guided tours are available.
The Night Safari is only accessible from the headquarters.
