Wat Phra That Nong Waeng

Inside Wat Phra That Nong Waeng Muang Kao, which is a royal temple, there is Phra Maha That Kaen Nakhon or Phra That Kaeo Chan, a square base with a width of 50 meters on each side. The spire is a replica of Phra That Kham Kaen. The height of the Phra That is 80 meters. There are 4 small chedis located at the 4 corners and a wall of 7-headed Naga serpents surrounding it. It is a Dvaravati style art mixed with Indochinese art, which is a style of the Isan people. Tak Hae
