.. Phra Mahathat Kaen Nakhon Anusorn Sathuchan, Wat Nong Waeng, is located on the city center road, along Bueng Kaen Nakhon, Mueang District, inside Wat Nong Waeng Muang Kao, which is a royal temple.
.. There is Phra Mahathat Kaen Nakhon Anusorn Sathuchan or the nine-tiered pagoda with a square base, 50 meters wide on each side, with a pagoda-shaped roof, modeled after Phra That Phanom.
.. It was built on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the accession to the throne of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej and the 200th anniversary of Khon Kaen. The height of the pagoda is 80 meters, with four small pagodas at the four corners and a seven-headed naga wall surrounding it. It is a Dvaravati style art mixed with Indochinese art, which is a style of the Isan Pak Hae people.
