Wat Nong Waeng Royal Monastery

Wat Nong Waeng, a royal temple, is a temple located in the center of Khon Kaen city, on the shores of Bueng Kaen Nakhon. The 9-storey pagoda, or Phra That Kaen Nakhon, is one of the highlights that visitors must walk up to pay homage to the relics of the Lord Buddha enshrined on the 9th floor. Each floor contains many Buddha images in various postures, with moral teachings and teachings. The balcony around Phra That Nong Waeng offers a view of Bueng Kaen Nakhon and Khon Kaen city from the 3rd floor onwards, and the 9th floor is the most beautiful. Visitors can come up to pay homage to the pagoda from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. If you can't make it up, the temple has also placed the pagoda on the 1st floor. You can also make offerings to monks, make merit, and worship sacred objects.
