1. Phra Mahathat Kaen Nakhon (9-Storey Chedi)

This chedi was built to commemorate the 50th anniversary of His Majesty King Rama IX's accession to the throne and to commemorate the 200th anniversary of Khon Kaen. The rectangular structure resembles Phra That Phanom, blending Dvaravati and Indochinese styles. It is exquisitely beautiful.
Architecture: The chedi is 80 meters high and has nine floors, each with its own unique and interesting features.

Worship: The top floor (9th floor) houses the relics of the Lord Buddha, a key point of worship for good fortune.
2. Museum and Exhibition Hall (Each floor of the chedi)
Walking up the nine floors of the chedi is not just about paying respects to the Buddha, but also about exploring a small museum that showcases the history and culture of Isan.

2nd Floor: The Isan Museum It houses a collection of rare antique artifacts.

The 3rd floor is the Dhamma Hall, featuring carvings and Benjarong paintings, as well as Isan folk tales such as the story of Nang Phom Hom.

Other floors include a collection of important Buddhist scriptures and exquisitely carved patterns on doors and windows depicting the life of the Buddha.
