Thale Noi

Thale Noi is a large freshwater lake located in Khuan Khanun District, Phatthalung Province. It is considered one of the most important natural tourist attractions in southern Thailand. Known for its rich biodiversity, Thale Noi was declared Thailand's first wildlife sanctuary.

Highlights of Thale Noi:
• Red Lotus Sea: From mid-February to April, the red lotus flowers bloom across Thale Noi, especially in the morning. Visitors can take boat rides to admire the beauty of the lotus fields.
• Birdwatching: Thale Noi is home to a variety of water birds, including both resident and migratory species such as the purple heron, pelican, and seagull. The peak birdwatching season is from January to April.
