Cruising on Thale Noi, Phatthalung

If you ever visit and stay near Songkhla Lake (a lake that spans both Songkhla and Phatthalung provinces), I highly recommend waking up early to take a long-tail boat ride to explore the lake. It's absolutely worth the early rise! The boat driver will take you to witness the first light of the day and observe traditional local fishing methods, such as using lift nets. The view of the lake is stunning, stretching all the way to the Banthat mountain range. The boat ride continues to Thale Noi, where you'll see a sea of red lotus flowers blooming across the water. You might even spot water buffalo grazing in the lake—an unforgettable experience!
