The former residence of Li Gongpu is located at No. 129, Dongcun, Gongpu Road, Wujin District, Changzhou City. It has three courtyards, a brick and wood structure, and a construction area of ​​300 square meters. It is a provincial cultural relic protection unit, named a patriotism education base by the Central Committee of the China Democratic League, designated as a field education base by the Jiangsu Provincial Academy of Socialism, and named a Tongxin Cultural Demonstration Base by Changzhou City.

The former residence of Li Gongpu originally consisted of five courtyards and four patios. By the 1990s, most of the residence had been destroyed, leaving only the main building of the second courtyard. In 1997, the Wujin Municipal (County) People's Government allocated funds for restoration work, building the entrance hall, official hall, main building, and the flower walls surrounding the two patios. The entrance halls and official halls of the first and second courtyards are now three-bay, six-bay, gabled-roofed bungalows. The main building of the third courtyard is also three-bay, six-bay, gabled-roofed, with a total floor area of ​​approximately 200 square meters. The south-facing central areas of the second and third courtyards are decorated with floor-to-ceiling lattice windows, and the secondary rooms on either side are decorated with lattice half-windows.
