Thailand's Jellyfish Sea! Similan Islands Diving Guide 🐠 Get a photo with sea turtles!

Only in Similan will you know what a glass sea is! The water is so clear you can see through to the coral and fish below. The chance of encountering a sea turtle on Island No. 7 is very high~ This place is only open 150 days a year, so those who catch the open season definitely hit the jackpot!

📍Location: Lam Kaen, Phang Nga Bay, Thailand
🚤 Travel Tip: It is recommended to join a day tour from Phuket by speedboat, about 1.5 hours journey

🌊 Must-Do Routes:
1️⃣ Snorkeling at Island No. 7
Jellyfish Sea diving first experience! Water depth 5-8 meters with super high visibility, colorful coral and tropical fish swimming right before your eyes. If lucky, you can even capture a photo with a sea turtle~

2️⃣ Summit Island No. 8
Hike 15 minutes up the mountain trail to the Sail Rock viewpoint, with Tiffany blue sea views and pristine white beaches in full sight! It is recommended to wear non-slip shoes; the rocks at the summit are a popular photo spot

🐢 Sea Turtle Encounter Tips:
- Highest chance of seeing them while diving between 9-11 AM
- Keep a distance of over 3 meters and observe quietly
- Do not touch the turtles or coral reefs

⚠️ Notes:
- No shoes allowed on the island (you can buy beach socks in advance)
- Be sure to apply sunscreen (waterproof recommended)
- Do not take any coral or shells
