This shrine is located in Kishiwada City, which is famous for the Kishiwada Danjiri festival in southern Osaka. It is said to grant traffic safety and protection from evil. The exact date of its founding is unclear, but it is said to have been located here in 927, and it is thought to have originally been built as the guardian deity of the Yagi clan, an ancient local clan. It is now affectionately called "Yagi no Miya-san." Miyairi Shrine is where the danjiri floats visit during the famous Kishiwada Danjiri festival.

There is a parking lot, but the alleys are a bit narrow, so please be careful when visiting by car.
