[Fukuoka] French course meal in an important cultural property

The Former Matsumoto Residence, a nationally designated important cultural property in Kitakyushu City, was built in the Meiji era and has a history of over 100 years.

It was built as the residence of Matsumoto Kenjiro, the founder of the current Kyushu Institute of Technology.📝

The Former Matsumoto Residence is made up of two buildings, a Western-style building and a Japanese-style building, and the Western-style building was designed by Tatsuno Kingo, the architect who also designed Tokyo Station and the Bank of Japan headquarters! ⁡
I had a full-course French dinner in this Western-style building that has a real historical feel🍽️

They are particular about each ingredient, and they give you a detailed explanation, so you can enjoy the food at your leisure🥺

They use fish that is butchered on the spot, and meat is purchased in blocks for each part, so I really understand why it's so delicious🫶

French cuisine in an important cultural property is perfect for a reward or anniversary❤️

Since it was dinner, the lighting was very nice, so I hope you will take your time✨
