I went to Kokura Castle in Kokura, Kitakyushu, Fukuoka Prefecture☺️
When I went, the cherry blossoms were in full bloom.
There were stalls and it was very lively.
Kokura Castle is the only castle in Fukuoka Prefecture that has a castle tower, a symbol of traditional Japanese castles☺️
It is loved as a symbol of Kitakyushu City along with its unique architectural design, "Kara-zukuri".
Kokura Castle has 5 floors,
1st floor: Theater and experience corner
2nd floor: Area where you can learn about the history of the Hosokawa family, who built the castle in earnest, and the Ogasawara family, who entered the country later
3rd floor: Area where you can learn about the lives of Miyamoto Musashi and Sasaki Kojiro
4th floor: Gallery
5th floor: Bar and observation space
It's fun for both children and adults!
I enjoyed it for about 2 hours☺️
