A trip from Mojiko to Shimonoseki near Fukuoka (+Miniature Exhibition)

At 7:31 AM, I board the limited express train Nichirin Seagaia. Each person sits in a seat designed for four, resembling the companion seats on the KTX.

The train is old, but the interior facilities are quite luxurious, even featuring lamps. I transfer at Kokura Station to head to Mojiko Station.

At 9 AM, I visit the miniature exhibition. For about 45 minutes, two of us enjoy the exhibition individually without interfering with each other, following the A/B course intuitively without speaking.

The exhibition runs until January 13th, and since it’s a weekday morning, the venue is almost empty, making for a pleasant viewing experience. I purchase a limited-edition miniature model exclusive to the exhibition and receive an original poster.

From Mojiko, I greet Shimonoseki across the sea.

The Kanmon Strait, where Kyushu meets Honshu and Fukuoka Prefecture meets Yamaguchi Prefecture, is truly beautiful. Thank you.
