The train from Hakata to JR Mojiko Station takes about an hour, which is not too far.
Mojiko Retro Area—home to the old Moji Customs House and the Kyushu Railway Memorial Museum, which showcases the history of the Kyushu Railway and its rolling stock.
Not only does this area boast the nostalgic port and architecture, but it also offers many souvenir shops. A family stroll through the retro area and the port is a wonderful way to create wonderful memories!

I highly recommend a day trip to Mojiko for those visiting Kyushu! ☺️
