If you have the chance to visit Kokura in Fukuoka, we recommend these three places! 💗

🏯 Kokura Castle is a restored ancient castle. Inside, there are exhibitions detailing the city's history, making it a fun place to wander around. The outside also offers a lush, shady atmosphere.
Open daily from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM (admission fee applies).

🪴 Just a short walk away is Katsuyama Park, a large park perfect for relaxing, strolling, taking in the fresh air, and admiring the architecture. Hydrangeas bloom beautifully in summer.

⛩️ And don't forget to end your visit at Kokura Gion Inari Shrine, a small but charming shrine with fox statues guarding both sides. 🦊 It's another great photo spot and perfect for praying for good fortune and prosperity.

The park and shrine are open all day, perfect for morning and evening strolls.

And admission is free.

🚆 It's very easy to get to. From Kokura Station, it's a 10-15 minute walk to both the castle and park.
