[Kokura Castle]

Kokura Castle was completed when the Hosokawa clan entered Kokura after their achievements in the Battle of Sekigahara.

It is located in the center of the city, close to JR Kokura Station and the downtown area, and has the largest floor space on the first floor in western Japan!

And inside the large castle, there are plenty of experience spots✨

Both adults and children can enjoy it, such as a free corner where you can put on a kimono and take photos, and a yabusame experience.

There is also plenty of information, such as castle comparisons and historical picture scrolls⭐️
You can also learn about the origins of the castle on the monitor.

What surprised me was the cafe in the observation room☕️
When you think of a castle, you think of a dark and empty place, but Kokura Castle has an interesting contrast between the outside and inside of the castle😊
You can drink alcohol at the cafe at night🍺

A helmet made in the same workshop as the one owned by Shohei Otani is also displayed inside the castle⚾️

In spring, a cherry blossom festival is held and there are food stalls, so the cherry blossom season is especially recommended🌸
