Canal City mall is a place for young and adults to shop. there are anime shops and card games the young can indulge while the adults can shop around in GU, Uniqlo, ABC mart, etc. the family can watch musical water show with lighting effects at night to end it.

- Trains are fast and direct between Kitakyushu and Fukuoka—JR passes work well, and both MOJIKO and Kokura stations are close to main attractions.
- Many attractions are walkable once you’re near the harbor area.
