Art Attack in Malang: Kampung Tridi Day Trip Under RM50

Visited Tridi Village, Malang for under RM50—and yes, it was a full-blown explosion of colour, murals, and Instagram poses I definitely didn’t practice beforehand. Paid a small entrance fee (around RM5), grabbed a street snack or two (RM10), and the rest went to iced drinks and a very necessary souvenir keychain (RM35 total well spent). Every corner had 3D art, rainbow stairs, and surprise cats photobombing my shots.

Snapped pics with painted wings, fake waterfalls, and a giant shark mural that low-key scared me. Kampung Tridi was a quick, quirky stop—but a vibe all on its own.

Tips: Pair this with a visit to Jodipan (right next door!) for a full-on mural-hopping morning. Bring a power bank—you’ll need it.
