A place filled with more stories than expected, Long Son Pagoda.

An hour at Long Son Pagoda in Nha Trang 🛕✨
On the third day in Nha Trang,
As the sunlight softened a bit,
I visited **Long Son Pagoda (Chùa Long Sơn)**.
I thought it would just be a quiet temple,
but it turned out to be a place filled with more stories than I imagined.

🐾 First steps
At the entrance of the pagoda, the subtle scent of incense lingered,
and the sound of bells in between
helped pause unnecessary thoughts in my mind for a while.

Walking up slowly,
I climbed the stone steps one by one, carrying 152 small thoughts with each step.
Though I was out of breath, strangely, my heart felt lighter and lighter. 🍃

🙏 A breathtaking view
At the end of the steps, I was greeted by the white Buddha,
who truly embodied 'peace' itself.
Sitting serenely on a lotus,
I found myself instinctively bringing my hands together in reverence. 🤲

Behind the Buddha, the view of Nha Trang city and the sea unfolded,
the sound of leaves rustling in the wind,
and even without saying a word, the moment felt complete.

🌿 On the way back
Sitting under the shade of a small tree beneath the statue,
I sipped some water and felt grateful to be there at that moment.

As I returned to the city,
I kept reminiscing about those quiet moments.
If you need a break during your travels,
make sure to visit Long Son Pagoda.

✨ A few tips
📸 Take photos quietly and respectfully
👚 Dress modestly (cover shoulders and knees!)
💰 There's no entrance fee, but you can quietly pray and leave

When your heart feels heavy,
you don't have to go far.
Just spending time sitting quietly in a corner of a temple
can help lighten your heart little by little.
