Arima Onsen, known as the inner sanctum of Kansai, is located in Arima-cho, Kita-ku, Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture.
Arima Onsen is one of Japan's three oldest hot springs. It was also counted among the three famous springs in The Pillow Book. In the Muromachi period, Banri Shuku listed it as one of the "three famous springs" along with Kusatsu Onsen and Gero Onsen, and in the Edo period, Hayashi Razan also wrote about these three hot springs as the "three famous springs of the world."
The entrance to Arima Onsen is here, Taiko Bridge.
The area under the bridge is currently under construction, but it will become a park where you can take a stroll.
There is also a tower near this bridge where the hot spring called Motoyu comes out.
Arima Onsen starts here. ✨♨️✨
