"Suzuran no Yu" is a day-trip hot spring facility located along Arima Kaido in Kobe's Kita Ward. Surrounded by nature, this tranquil space offers hot springs, saunas, and meals. A free shuttle bus from Sannomiya makes it even easier to get to the "beautifying bath."
The hot springs feature a mildly alkaline, simple water that springs from 1,100 meters underground. Known for their gentle skin-beautifying properties, they leave skin feeling moisturized after a bath. The facility uses Miyamizu, a water source selected as one of Japan's 100 famous springs, and is recommended for those who are particular about the texture of the water.
The facility is equipped with a garden open-air bath, a bedrock bath, a steam sauna, a large Finnish-style sauna (self-loyly available), and more, with the sauna facilities scheduled for renovation in spring 2025 for even more comfort. You can spend a relaxing time in a tranquil environment surrounded by nature.
One of the attractions is the restaurant, where you can enjoy set meals and light meals made with local ingredients. After soaking in the hot springs and sauna, you can take a break and enjoy a pleasant meal.
