Experience contemporary art and fine arts at the Hyogo Prefectural Museum of Art!

Designed by Tadao Ando, one of Japan's leading architects, the museum opened in 2002.

It was born as a symbol of "cultural recovery" after the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake 🏢

Not only are there artworks, but the sea that spreads out before you and the huge maze-like building are integrated, providing visitors with a diverse spatial experience, which is one of the highlights ✨

In addition to holding special exhibitions, the museum has a collection of about 9,000 works, mainly sculptures, which are introduced in sequence in the permanent exhibition 📚
There are also sculptures outdoors, and the design allows you to enjoy the building and the scenery, which is also an attractive point.

On the 3rd and 4th floors, there is a deck space that looks like it is jutting out over the sea. You can see the entire structure of the carefully designed building.
There are also works by Kenji Yanobe outside✨✨
