Four generations of our family stayed at Arima Onsen, one of Japan's three oldest hot springs.
Our stay at Ginsui-so Choraku is a rare inn where you can enjoy two types of hot springs: gold and silver.
The gold spring has a viscous, reddish-brown color that warms you from the inside out.
The silver spring is clear and gentle, perfect for relieving fatigue.
Both are known for their excellent skin-beautifying properties, making these exquisite baths so delicious you'll want to soak in them every night.
The views from our rooms, the seasonal kaiseki cuisine, and the warm hospitality are all wonderful, making this a truly relaxing inn.
The inn also features a lounge, cafe, beauty salon, and private open-air bath, and a pool that opens in the summer.
Strollers and cots are available for rent, and the hotel is full of thoughtful touches to ensure a comfortable stay for everyone, from babies to the elderly.
Surrounded by tranquil nature, it was a special time for everyone, from my 6-year-old great-grandson to my 90-year-old great-grandmother, all smiling!
