Mangroves, Boardwalks & Jungle

#summervacay Tucked away in the quieter part of Koh Chang, the Salak Phet Mangrove Forest is seriously underrated. It’s not flashy or crowded, just long wooden boardwalks winding through peaceful green mangroves, and yeah, it’s kinda magical. No noise, no rush, just the sound of birds and your own flip-flops.
The walk is super chill and flat (no hiking drama here), and the air feels extra fresh. It’s one of those spots where you can totally unplug and zone out in the best way. Bonus points if you go early or late for that soft golden light and zero people.
There’s also a lookout tower at the end with some solid views over the forest and out toward the sea, totally worth the climb. And if you're lucky, you might spot some crabs doing their weird sideways hustle along the roots.
It’s a super mellow adventure, but honestly? That’s the charm. Salak Phet is where you go when you wanna slow down and just vibe with nature.
