This is another beautiful beach on Koh Chang. The powdery white sand begins at Laem Chai Chet and continues to Kai Bae Beach. The beach is shaded by coconut trees and is lined with resorts and restaurants. It's not overly crowded, offering a peaceful and private atmosphere, making it ideal for relaxation.
In addition to the coconut trees lining Klong Prao Beach, as its name suggests, there's also a canal where water from Klong Phlu Waterfall flows into the sea.
THE SPLASH Water Park Hotel
This newly opened hotel opened in September. Inside, the hotel features a water park for guests to enjoy activities. The rooms are clean and spacious. I visited in September, when the hotel had just opened. The standard room rate was reduced to 1,100 baht per night, a special discount from the full price during the opening period. It includes a buffet breakfast. Parking is convenient for those driving. The check-in lobby is designed to be open and airy, with glass all around. There are 85 rooms in total, designed in a contemporary style, featuring white, black, and brown tones, blending Thai and loft styles. The hotel boasts comprehensive amenities and a lush, tropical garden that blends seamlessly with the surroundings. The hotel is located right on the beach. If you're tired of the water park, you can take a dip in the sea. Alternatively, you can take a walk along the kilometers-long beach, breathe in the fresh morning air, and admire the beautiful hotels lining the beachfront.
