An island that's quick and close by by ferry, and the atmosphere is incredibly chill and private. I recommend Koh Larn for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle for a short break.

For a short trip near Bangkok, we recommend Pattaya, where you can take a ferry across to Koh Larn.

It's like a private beach, with beautiful, crystal-clear waters, crashing waves, and plenty of cafes to chill at.

Getting to Koh Larn is super easy. We drove our own car to South Pattaya at Bali Hai Pier. If you're worried about seasickness, or want a Fast & Furious vibe, there's a speedboat ride that takes just 15 minutes to reach the island. The roundtrip fare is 250 baht. Taking a regular passenger boat, which also offers sea views, is only 30 baht per trip. The trip takes 45 minutes.

You can choose to get off at two locations: Na Ban Pier and Ta Waen Beach.

Getting around the island is easy. Just rent a motorbike and cruise around the island. If you can't drive, you can also take a songthaew (songthaew). It's super convenient.
The beautiful cafes with sea views are truly amazing. The bar is chill, and the music is all 90s goodness.
