Family-Friendly Koh Larn: Crystal-Clear Beaches for a Perfect Day Trip

We took a day trip from Pattaya, boarding the ferry at 10 AM and returning on the 4 PM ferry from Koh Larn. A day trip from Pattaya is super convenient.

While a day trip from Bangkok is possible, the round trip takes about 5-6 hours, so staying overnight in Pattaya or Koh Larn might be a better option for families with kids.

When we visited Bangkok in late 2024, we ended up going to Hua Hin, but we seriously considered Pattaya and Koh Larn as well. The fact that you can get there without flying is a big plus.

With stylish Instagram-worthy cafes, high water clarity, and easy access from Bangkok, Koh Larn offers a high level of satisfaction! Plus, with more cute hotels popping up, it’s a destination to look forward to in the future.
