We tried Sand & Tan and I must say that I was very impressed! This is a beverage and cafe with a cool concept, focusing on the sea theme and relaxation, like we are really chilling by the sea.

The atmosphere of the shop is very good, with soft natural light. There are sea-themed decorations, such as shells, warm colors like sand and sea water, which match the name of the shop perfectly. Plus, there is beautiful music playing, making you feel calm and want to sit for a long time.

The drink menu here is very good, especially the cocktails and cold drinks, such as “Sand Breeze”, which is a mocktail mixed with fresh fruits. It tastes refreshing and sweet, just right. Or “Tan Sunset”, which has pineapple and coconut water mixed in. The taste is smooth and soft, like you are really sitting and watching the sunset.

In addition to drinks, the shop also has small desserts such as coconut cake and biscuits that go well together. Or if you are hungry but not too heavy, there are salads and bakery items to choose from.

The staff are also lovely, provide good service, are polite, and are ready to recommend menus and answer questions in a friendly manner.

This restaurant is located in Phangan Bayshore Resort, open daily from 08:00–22:00. Breakfast menu is served from 08:00–10:30 and a la carte menu from 11:00–22:00.  

Sand & Tan is a cafe and bistro located on the beach with a casual atmosphere, perfect for relaxing while enjoying the sea view.
