Exquisite Experience at Banyan Tree

The Banyan Tree was just a modest segment of our recent South East Asia excursion, yet it left an indelible mark and was arguably one of the highlights. It combines the seclusion and villas reminiscent of the Maldives with Hawaii's rugged, mountainous landscape. Absolutely breathtaking! The service was exceptional, the food exquisite, and the pool villa was magnificent—very spacious and lavish with almost everything you might desire, from a bathtub overlooking the rainforest to yoga mats, various bug repellents, essential oils, and incense. If being meticulous, a couple of items in the villa could use replacing due to dampness and mold growth, such as the large light shade in the lounge area and the blinds in the villa pavilion. As ALL Accor members, it is also somewhat disheartening that this property doesn’t participate in the scheme, meaning no reward or status points. We are sure to return for another brief stay but would also like to experience the Banyan Tree Phuket, which is part of the Accor program.
