【Kitakyushu Travel】Dream Triple Set Meal

During my trip to Kitakyushu, I visited Kokura. After checking into a hotel near Kokura Station and relaxing for a bit, I went out for dinner.

Not knowing where to go, I asked the hotel front desk for recommendations. They suggested a popular restaurant where you can enjoy delicious set meals even at night, so I decided to give it a try. ☺️

This set meal restaurant is run by a former Italian chef 🍚

They source fresh seafood through a unique route from the area around Tsunoshima in Yamaguchi Prefecture. Among their offerings, the restaurant's signature fried horse mackerel is said to be "the world's most delicious fried horse mackerel." 🐟

Coincidentally, it was the restaurant's first anniversary since relocating, so I got to enjoy a special menu. 🎶

A dream plate packed with all my favorites 🥹✨

The hamburger steak was meaty yet soft and fluffy. ♡

The fried shrimp was plump and juicy, and you could eat it from head to tail. 🍤

And the fried horse mackerel I was most curious about had crispy batter and tender, fluffy meat. ♡

The tartar sauce was incredibly delicious and paired perfectly with the fried items. ❣️

The rice was made with domestic Hinohikari rice from Toyokitamachi, and it was glossy and tasty. 🍚💕

The staff were very kind, the atmosphere was cozy, and overall, it was an amazing experience. 💯
