During these few days in Sabah, I collected sunsets and seaside moments.

Even though I've seen countless sunsets, I'm still amazed by the ones at Tanjung Aru, and I'm always drawn to the occasional seaside cafes.

Walking barefoot into the warm waves, I watched the salted egg yolk-like sun plop into the sea. Local children ran past with coconut ice cream, and the clouds turned into pink and purple cotton candy. Suddenly, it all made sense: Who needs profound life philosophies? In the time it takes to savor a durian ice cream, the world has already surrendered to you.
