The ultimate Semporna, Malaysia travel guide is here! Dear friends, as a visa-free country, Malaysia is really perfect for those traveling abroad for the first time! It offers abundant natural and cultural attractions, and the language is simple—Mandarin basically works everywhere, so you don’t have to worry about communication at all! Just got back from Malaysia 🇲🇾, had an amazing 6 days in Kota Kinabalu + Semporna, and honestly don’t want to go home! 😘

Since it was my first time traveling abroad, I joined a tour group led by a Chinese-speaking local operator called (on WeChat official account). They were super professional, with a clear itinerary covering food, accommodation, transportation, and activities—all included, so no worries at all. Perfect for those who don’t want to plan everything themselves!

✅ Visa-free entry to Semporna
Chinese citizens can enter visa-free for 30 days. Just fill out the MDAC (Malaysia Digital Arrival Card) online 3 days before arrival and print it out—super convenient! No visa hassles at all!

❤️ Kuala Lumpur
The cost of living in Kuala Lumpur is comparable to second- and third-tier cities in China, offering great value! Here you’ll find Southeast Asian-style architecture and streets, plus duty-free shops that will tire your legs from shopping—an absolute paradise for girls! And don’t miss out on a durian feast; durian lovers definitely can’t miss this!

💛 Semporna
For those obsessed with jellyfish seas 🌊, Semporna is a must-visit! The sea views and dive spots here are incredibly pristine. Island hopping, sea activities, water village fishing, diving—the options are endless! Especially the island tours, each island has a unique scenery so beautiful you won’t want to look away!

💙 Kota Kinabalu
Kota Kinabalu offers diverse scenery too. The sunset at Tanjung Aru Beach is stunning, and exploring the tropical rainforest is very fun. There’s also the highland ranch at Mount Kinabalu where you can feed cows, try paragliding, off-road vehicles, enjoy freshly made ice cream, and the nearby islands are gorgeous—perfect for relaxing by the sea!

⚠️ Notes
1. Water villas don’t provide toothbrushes or toothpaste: remember to bring your own toiletries.
2. Churches are closed on Mondays: plan your visits accordingly!
3. Island hopping lunches are not tasty: it’s recommended to bring your own snacks for energy.
4. No massages within 24 hours after deep diving: to avoid discomfort.
5. ATMs in town often run out of cash: it’s best to exchange cash in advance or withdraw at the airport.

In short, Malaysia is really great for first-time international travelers! Take advantage of the visa-free entry now, grab your passport and travel buddy, and go for it! 👉
