I had a remarkable stay at the Kota Kinabalu Marriott Hotel. The location is strategically right by the waterfront with stunning sunset views and walking distance to popular eateries & markets.
Upon arrival, I was greeted by friendly and efficient staff who made check-in a breeze. My room was spacious, modern luxury and impeccably clean, with
a comfortable bed, high-quality linens. It also features a well-appointed bathroom with bath tub, and a balcony which provided breathtaking seaviews, especially at sunset!
Dining at the hotel was a delight, the Borneo Lounge & Terrace served a delicious breakfast buffet with a great variety of local and international dishes. I also enjoyed cocktails at the Sampan Bar, which had a relaxed, tropical vibe.
The infinity pool overlooking the sea was a highlight, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring Kota Kinabalu. The gym was well-equipped, and the spa offered excellent treatments.
Service throughout my stay was attentive and professional, staff went out of their way to ensure comfort. The only minor downside was that Wi-Fi was occasionally slow, but it didn’t significantly impact my stay.
Overall, the Kota Kinabalu Marriott Hotel exceeded my expectations with its luxurious amenities, superb service, and unbeatable location. I would highly recommend it to both leisure and business travelers and would gladly stay here again!
