The Thrill of the Canopy Walkway
The Canopy Walkway is, hands down, the main attraction at Poring! Suspending you up to 41 meters above the forest floor, it offers a breathtaking, bird's-eye view of the lowland rainforest canopy. Walking across the rope and plank bridges, swinging slightly with the wind, is a definite adrenaline rush but perfectly safe. It gives you a perspective you can’t get on the ground, allowing you to appreciate the sheer height of the massive Menggaris trees. Allow at least an hour for the climb up to the starting point and the walk itself, and make sure you have cash for the separate camera fee!
