So this is never going to be a beach where you won't find tourists. But it falls in the category of tried and tested, developed beach for holidays. Ao nang the town often features as a better stay spot than Krabi town which is an hour's ride from here.

Ao nang beach often tends to be a destination for those looking to explore the krast islands of Krabi. There are plenty of those long tail boats stationed here. Going to various islands. This is a 2km plus long golden sand beach. You have all the facilities that a tourist requires which is why it does get a bit crowded. But more often the fact that it is seasoned helps with budget and getting through a holiday with all comforts a tourist requires.

Having said so, peak seasons can be avoided. Especially the last couple of years there has been an influx of Russian tourists. Who tend to have let's say Russian mannerisms and etiquette.
