Review of BHUNGA THANI Resort Room type: Pool Villa

Hello! The Krabi trip isn't over yet because we also stayed at Railay Beach at BHUNGA THANI Resort, Room type: Pool Villa, Room 806, from October 2-4, 2024, for 11,792 Baht.

Pros:
1. Close to the pier, just about a 2-minute walk to the hotel. It's convenient for those with rolling luggage.

2. The hotel's surroundings are beautiful and luxurious, with a private and uncrowded atmosphere.

2. Friendly and helpful staff. Service is quick and efficient.

3. The Pool Villa room we booked was spacious, clean, and had a comfortable bed.

4. The bathtub in the room is large and perfect for those who enjoy soaking.

Cons:
1. The room is clean but quite old. The age isn't the issue, but the room isn't well-maintained.

2. The shower room only has a rain shower, which can be inconvenient if you don't want to get your hair wet. The room is spacious, but the private pool is a bit small and narrow.

3. Limited breakfast options, and items are not replenished frequently.

4. The front of the hotel looks like a mangrove forest, which isn't as beautiful as the other side. However, Railay Beach is walkable, and you can reach the prettier side easily.

Overall, it's not bad. I'd give it a 7/10. However, for the price paid, I expected better room maintenance. It might be specific to the room type we stayed in; other types might not have this issue. The hotel seems to be renovating some areas, so it might improve in the future.
