The course is well-organized, with a climb throughout the entire race. We did a 30-kilometer descent.
The route starts off on the beach for about 5 kilometers, then cuts across a road into a mine, uphill, and into the forest. It alternates between forest, road, beach, water crossings, and a gentle rope climb before re-entering the beach and reaching the finish line. Oh, and there's even a barbecue at intervals. 😅
The course is mostly covered in loose rocks, roots, vines, and leaves. Be careful of slipping and tripping. I couldn't lift my leg and tripped on rocks and vines several times. Overall, it was fun and satisfying.
I use this course for practice and to evaluate my next race. See you at the 35k Kapong! Love you!
