2D1N in Kuantan with the fam

We arrived in Kuantan in the afternoon and headed straight for lunch at the famous Jaman Tory. Their ikan patin tempoyak definitely lived up to the hype—rich, creamy, and full of flavour.

After lunch, we took a stroll along the riverside. Of course, we had to snap some photos with the big “Kuantan” sign and the Menara Kuantan in the background. Tourist mode: on!

In the evening, we explored some of Kuantan’s beaches. There are so many to choose from—Pantai Balok, Pantai Batu Hitam, and of course, the ever-popular Teluk Cempedak. Loved the chill vibes and sea breeze.

Had a good night’s rest, then started our day early the next morning with breakfast at Kuantan Pickers. The place has such a cool vibe—there was a live jamming session outside and a wide selection of traditional kuih like badak berendam, puding raja, talam, and more.

Before hitting the road to Kuala Terengganu, we made a quick coffee stop at Watak Kopi for a much-needed caffeine fix. Then off we went, ready for the next leg of our Pantai Timur road trip!#staycation #travel #familytravel #visitkuantan #cuticutimalaysia
