the national monument in Malaysia

it is made out of bronze to commemorate some sacrifice of Malaysian warriors. can enjoy beautiful view of KL from here.

this place is currently under renovation, seems like they’re building a fountain around the statue. however we can come in to take a photo. i bet it’ll be prettier when completed!

in the area, there are also a cafe/restaurant, a small garden and a hiking trail. i saw an entrance to Taman Tugu Negara, looks interesting but we were run out of time so we didnt visit. there was a stream and small waterfall visible from the road (near the entrance to taman tugu negara) when we were on our way out of the area.

**this place is uphill, there is a carpark at both the top and bottom, you need to climb the stairs if park at bottom.
