The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur 🇲🇾 🏨

#hotelreview

I am writing this review while I am still staying at the property as it was, and still is, a refreshing experience. On the stoning of the doubt of staying in a historical premise of conservation, my doubts turned into a delight with the impeccable service of various teams.

My deep appreciation to the front office team for making the residential experience so charming. Win (who logged in and accompanied me to the suite) was really nice and welcoming. The DMs, Phoebe and Aman were simply well prepared to meet inquiries and address concerns. Ms. Nita, the assistant front office manager, whom I met during my previous stay at the sister property Stripes, was friendly and convenient. Specific reference should be made to the RDM, Mr. Tony Oy, who contacted me prior to arrival and was in constant contact with me to anticipate and address the issues. In fact, he is talking as a leader in a really fast-paced environment and emerges as a professional and loyal hotel.

Housekeeping staff, in particular, Sajib, take their duties to the highest standards. The suite is always cleaned and reduced to perfection and amenities are available at all times.

The F&B team, led by Mr. Ong Eng Hu and Encik Azmie, are competent and knowledgeable. The breakfast experience at Contango was above the top, where James and his team quickly turned the tables and rejuvenate the buffet elements. They stay warm and guest-centered even with the festive crowd.

Sure, the dining experience at Colonial Café should be mentioned strongly. The culinary team is doing a great job with their mix of eastern and western dishes. The service team consisting of Glin, Jia Hui, Ko Ko, Roshan and Hope are very keen to interact and help. Perhaps the only downside is loud families with kids who decide to create a buzz while musicians try to create beautiful music. Enforcement should be increased in this regard. These noisy guests should be directed to eat at the main restaurant instead if they cannot embody the required etiquette.

Indeed, I look forward to returning to the property in the first quarter of the new year!
