Arabica % in KL hit differently compared to that in Japan

Was a huge fan for the Japanese coffee brand, % Arabica, when I first visited Singapore and tried their coffee. And then tried it again when I visited Japan. Simply luscious and bold with coffee aroma.
So when it first came to Kuala Lumpur, I was excited to relive my memories. But frankly speaking, my first two visits were disappointing.
The coffee was roasted in house, but I think something was not done right. The profile was definitely not the same as what was served in Japan/Singapore.
And the customer service was below expectation too. Staff at cashier didn’t know about their coffee on the menu, and gave me wrong information about the coffee-milk ratio in their large latte. So I ended up bringing home 4 cups of milky coffee due to the wrong information. With the kinda steep prices as compared to many excellent coffee options in the local market, they need to ensure thorough training with the staffs, which they didn’t.
But some time has passed since the previous two visits. I probably need to revisit to see if things have changed.
