Day 1 Citywalk: Exploring History at Kuala Lumpur City Gallery

#springitinerary

On Day 1 of my Citywalk adventure in KL, I visited the Kuala Lumpur City Gallery, nestled in a stunning colonial-era building at the heart of the city. The gallery serves as a fascinating hub of history and culture, offering exhibits, scale models, and visual stories of KL’s growth.

The building itself is a masterpiece—its charming red-brick façade and white trim stand out amid the urban buzz. Just outside, the iconic Dataran Merdeka awaits, where the tallest flagpole in Malaysia proudly rises—a symbol of national pride. The entire area is lively and picturesque, making it a perfect stop for learning, reflecting, and snapping that must-have Instagram shot against a truly historic backdrop.
