Had the chance to try this and it was such a refreshing twist — lok lok in a hotel setting isn’t something you come across often!

This July, Substance at Courtyard by Marriott KL South offers a cosy, modern space where you can enjoy over 20 types of skewers with premium ingredients like fishballs, seafood, mushrooms, crab sticks, and fresh vegetables. Their signature broth is rich and comforting, and the five house-made sauces let you get creative with every bite.

There’s also a buffet spread featuring sushi, sashimi, seafood on ice, and local favourites — perfect if you love variety. The whole setup feels relaxed yet refined, great for casual gatherings with a bit of flair.
