Solo hostel stay review in Kuala Lumpur — not scary, clean, and safe. Located next to a mall and the Jalan Alor food district.

The staff are very lovely and kind, able to answer all 108 questions about traveling in Kuala Lumpur comprehensively. Very detailed information.

For cleanliness, I give 9 out of 10 — including common areas, hallways, bathrooms, and the room itself. The bed I slept on was also very clean.

It uses a keycard door system, and each bed has its own personal locker. The locker is very large, able to hold plenty of clothes and many personal items.

🤔 Cons: In Kuala Lumpur, the plugs are Type G, so you need to bring your own plug adapter.
🤔 Cons: Staff are only available until 7:00 PM. If you need to check in after 7 PM, you must contact the hostel via WhatsApp to do self check-in, which is very easy. The staff respond to chats very quickly.
