Sometimes, the best travel moments are the unexpected ones — like stumbling upon Pokok Café, hidden like a secret garden in the heart of LaLaport BBCC, Kuala Lumpur.

Bathed in natural light and surrounded by soft greenery, this glasshouse café feels more like a retreat than a stopover. We dropped by spontaneously — no plans, just curiosity — and left full, happy, and just a little more present.

We shared comforting plates: crispy fish & chips, creamy pasta, icy smoothies, thick milkshakes, and a golden pastry that disappeared quicker than we expected. Every bite was familiar, yet special — the kind of food that makes you sigh a little after.

Travel Tip: Come between 5–6PM. You’ll skip the dinner rush and catch the café in its calmest, dreamiest hour — all quiet chatter, golden light, and leafy shadows.
