Hotel in the heart of KL, suitable for family or group of 4

Stayed at MOV Hotel Kuala Lumpur for a fun 3D2N weekend trip with my family squad (group of 4)—honestly, finding a hotel in Bukit Bintang that fits all of us comfortably is like winning the lottery! 😂 Our room? A super cool loft on the 11th floor with 1 king-sized bed downstairs and 2 single beds upstairs. Space for everyone to vibe!

The deal was 🔥 too: RM400+ per night (usual rack rate is RM1200/night). Only one loft left when I booked so your girl *snagged it* without blinking. Oh, and there’s a foot soak session included—just call room service when those feet need some TLC. We were greeted with 2 chocolates (awkward for 4 people but hey, sharing is caring! 😅).

Location is 11/10—MOV Hotel KL sits at 43, Jalan Berangan, Bukit Bintang, 50200 Kuala Lumpur. Walk to Bukit Bintang MRT station in minutes, and you’re literally by Jalan Alor foodie street. So strategic! While the area is a bit rugged, it's generally quite safe.

Check-in starts at 3pm (we got lucky and entered early 😎), and check-out is noon—slept in, guilt-free! Deposit is RM200 (fully refunded after check-out). The hotel itself gives off boutique, insta-chic vibes; staff are super chill yet professional and made everything smooth.

Room basics? All sorted—slippers (thank you!), shower cap, toothbrush/paste, cotton buds. No face/hand towels so pack your own if you’re picky. The bathroom floor gets chilly, slippers are a lifesaver. The provided 3-in-1 shower gel/shampoo/conditioner… eh, not super hydrating, so bring your own hair stuff if you’re fussy.

Need to iron that OOTD? No iron/board in the room, but you’ll find them at the pool floor. Free water bottle refills at the pool/gym, so stay hydrated! Didn’t manage pics of the gym (too lazy, not sorry 🙈).

Sleep score: comfy! Adjustable air-conditioning, huge table for all your stuff (no closet though, but the TV/fridge lives inside a storage cupboard). Noise was okay for us, but some guests online say it can get a little busy. Staff service is always friendly and helpful, especially security and reception—big ups! 👏

Overall? If you’re not chasing 5-star luxury and just want a chic city pad for your family or squad, MOV Hotel KL is a pretty legit option. Great location, fun vibes, and value for money—perfect for staycations or short escapes in Kuala Lumpur.
