Sarawak Cultural Village - Kuching, Malaysia

In the island part of Malaysia in the north of the island of Borneo, there is a picturesque village of Damai, created to preserve the historical and cultural heritage of the ancient kingdom of Sarawak. This place must be visited by every tourist who wants to get to know the culture and traditions of this region.

An area of ​​almost 7 hectares was allocated for the construction of a "living museum". At the moment, 150 people live in Damai. Every day they put on shows for tourists, which include: demonstration of traditional costumes; performance of welcome dances; production of handmade souvenirs; processing of sago groats.
