📍KaniTomi This is a crab specialty restaurant that I made a reservation for during my trip to Kumamoto. There is a nice counter inside, and we went to a private room inside. We had the Omakase Crab Kaiseki (upper) course (appetizer, sashimi, special dish, grilled dish, crab porridge, pickles, dessert). It started with an elegant soup, and the appetizer, king crab, and snow crab sashimi were also very delicious. Along the way, a large spiny lobster was also served, so we enjoyed the shrimp as well. 🦐 Finally, we had the king crab and snow crab shabu-shabu that we had been looking forward to.
The long-awaited crab shabu-shabu was plump and voluminous.
The final dish was a delicious crab porridge with crab broth. The dessert was pear compote. I would like to visit again as a treat. Thank you for the meal☺️
